Our Client, a well-known International grain exporter company is actively searching for Senior Procurement Officer who will support the Country COO and the EMEA Procurement Manager and will be responsible for procurement activities for the Black Sea region. Responsibilities: Conduct strategic sourcing for OPEX (recurrent spend) and CAPEX (investment projects) : supply and demand analysis (category management), supplier selection (RFx: RFI, RFP), supplier management, contract negotiation, claim management, outsourcing and make or buy analysis, supply chain risks management Reviews, converts and processes Requisitions into Purchase Orders or Contracts Serves as the procurement point of contact for resolving all issues with Requisitions and Purchase Orders or contracts Participates in cross-functional training and other continuous improvement effort initiatives Assists in maintaining purchasing data and systems and enhancements Supports the implementation of procurement strategies, policies and procedures Supports the budget elaboration and conduct spend analysis Support on case-by-case basis some Regional or Global procurement activities or initiatives. Required Knowledge and Skills: At least Bachelor’s degree Min 5 years in procurement Relevant experience in procurement preferably in an industrial and international environment Previous experience of project management English - fluent Knowledge of purchasing processes and workflows Strong customer service orientation Knowledge of some specific industrial categories and additionally on G&A categories Ability to work under pressure with time constraints Ability to work with minimal supervision with solid decision making skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Strong negotiation skills Excellent organization and follow-through skills Flexibility, Autonomy, Rigor Strong ethics and analytical skills Software knowledge: MS Word, Excel (advanced skill-set) and Power Point.
