Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, standards, and codes of practice; Set up and maintain the HSE Filing system on site; Promote and ensure site safety rules are adhered to; Advise the contractor as to the observance of the requirements of the relevant statutory provisions and arrangements outlined in the ABB HSE Plan; Formally review RAMS to ensure that the RAMS are effective; Ensue Safe Systems of Work and best practice are adhered to; Monitor training and competence certificates; Provide Induction Training and maintain records; Monitor and ensure compliance with the environmental procedures; Ensure all waste generated is collected by a certified carrier, disposed of in a certified site, and receipts are maintained; Ensure emergency procedures are adequate and maintained; Ensure daily Toolbox talks are carried out; Compile monthly HSE reports as required covering performance, SOTs, audits and other HSE updates; Environmental, Health and safety incidents are reported, investigated, and corrective actions closed; Maintain all safety records, i.e. incident and hazard registers etc; Ensure the HSE Plan filing system is maintained on site; Monitor the site to ensure that it is kept clean and tidy; Participate in the weekly coordination / safety meeting; Where activities are being carried out unsafely, intervene immediately, stop the job where necessary rectify and consult with the contractor; Report Non Conformance to the site manager; Report any coordination issues to the site manager which effect safety; Consult with the HSE authorities where required; Conduct regular site HSE inspections/audits (as per schedule) to access project HSE performance and compliance and ensure corrective actions are addressed promptly; Conduct all HSE document reviews; Ensure that all contractors provide task specific risk assessments for all planned tasks; Formal review of all Risk Assessments and Method Statements to ensure compliance with best Safety Practices. Maintain files on-site; Ensure point of work risk assessments are carried out for all tasks on site daily and/or at the start of every shift; Ensure the HSE team are fully aware and briefed on all daily planned and scheduled activities to ensure adequate HSE reviews have taken place and HSE resource allocation to monitor and supervise tasks where required. Requirements: Job location in Aktogay; 3+ years of experience in safety and environmental systems implementations especially in project business; Knowledge about the occupational risk assessment methodologies and techniques; Extensive knowledge of HSE and other legislative requirements; Strong time management skills; Significant experience working in the HSE discipline within an engineering environment; Good communication, and presentation skills at all levels within an organization; Good knowledge of English language.
