Description : Job location: European locations possible. Travel: 30 – 50%. Position purpose: Responsible for all trade execution processes within CASC (Cargill Agricultural Supply Chain) EMEA including customer interaction, business partnership, process improvement and compliance, data management and documentation, strategy development and shipment execution, research & analysis. Major Tasks 50% Trade Execution Process Ownership Align & standardize all High Seas activities in EMEA Grain and Biodiesel, Oils & Seeds, Crush & Refinery in order to consolidate expertise, training and resources; Designs, manages and contributes to definition of improvement projects and commitments; Manages all aspects of trade execution processes for CASC EMEA including relationships management for accounts/customers, clients, suppliers and other business partners; Oversees the process of negotiation and coordination of competitive rates, contracts, and letters of credit with stevedores, terminals, warehouses, carriers, forwarders, ocean transportation, brokers and/or suppliers; Oversees the process of collaboration with traders/merchants, accountants, legal and insurance departments, as well as Cargill offices worldwide to insure the smooth execution of the supply chain plan from load port to its final destination; Oversees the process of issues resolution with loading, unloading, insurance claims, contract requirements, rejected products, location and timing of the product, and other questions/concerns communicated by complex internal and/or external contacts. 25% Process Improvement / Compliance Partners with Country Leads in the process of management and compilation of inventory levels and trends in effort to minimize carrying and warehousing costs for CASC EMEA; Oversees and optimized the process of developing game plans in the planning of trade execution goals for cost savings within their large location team; Evaluates analysis on risk exposure and process improvement, and provides direction and input for next steps. 25% Research, Analysis and Data Management Develops and optimizes the data management process; Monitors and optimizes the vessel/carrier nomination process to ensure efficiency and alignment in contract terms and to minimize risk exposure; Provides oversight and direction in deciding which tools/systems are appropriate to use for trade execution environments. Qualifications: Master’s Degree with focus on Economics, Supply Chain or Logistic Management; Minimum 10 years’ experience in Logistics & Supply Chain, with focus on trade execution and vessel transportation; Proven track record in change management; Track record in process development, optimization and implementation; Commodity trading background; Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; Commercial mindset; Experience in or knowledge about commodity trading and or Agricultural Supply Chain; Fluent in English.
