If you are a talented Python Developer who would like to move abroad, we might have an interesting opportunity for you. On behalf of our client in Gothenburg, we are looking for an experienced Python developer to join an agile team, responsible for developing the Continuous Integration machinery, within Vehicle Connectivity. Besides having the technical knowledge, you are expected to be a proactive team player, result oriented, willing to share your knowledge and, at the same time, receptive. Located on the Swedish west coast, Gothenburg is the second largest city in Sweden. The population in the metropolitan area, including satellite towns, is around one million. Besides being a center for the tech industry, Gothenburg offers a rich cultural life and a booming entertainment sector, with plenty of bars, restaurants, sporting events, concerts and much more. Your mission objectives, should you choose to accept: Establish an integration and verification environment that enables continuous integration, thus reducing lead time-to-market and increasing product quality. The team is responsible for the continuous integration of all internally-developed software and the tool chain at Vehicle Connectivity in Volvo Group Trucks Technology. Required Skills: Python Multi-threading Multiprocessing Network programming (Socket over UDP, TCP) and protocols Very good understanding of Continuous Integration and software tool chains Good knowledge of version control systems (Git) Fluent in English (both spoken and written) Delicious Extra Skills: Docker / Linux SQL Databases Tools for vizualization (html/css/javascript) Jenkins Artifactory Experience in test of embedded systems (unit testing, component testing, etc.); experience in test automation is a big advantage Agile processes (Kanban, Scrum), experience from agile product development using the SAFe framework We offer you: Opportunity to relocate to Sweden and become a part of a world-class international team Competitive salary of 3800 - 4200 euro per month Help with acquiring work visa and accommodation in Sweden Traveling to international conferences, parties, participating in hackathons and opportunities to grow Private healthcare insurance Fitness account Five weeks paid vacation Extra pay for any overtime It is very important that you feel motivated to relocate to Sweden, since it is not possible to work remote.
