Duties: Establish an internal communications strategy in conjunction with the top management Ensure company strategy, initiatives and projects are successfully communicated to all employees and stakeholders Plan, edit and write content for a variety of internal communications mediums, such as intranet (UNITED), monthly newsletter, videos or regular email bulletin. Editing includes the layout of content Keep all stakeholders abreast of progress of key initiatives and arrange a portal or some means to answer their questions. Storyboard to translate ideas into initiatives, actions and projects Use social media to communicate with staff internally as well as continuously sustain company image internally Organize or support organization of the company events, especially in terms of delivering presentations related to the progress of the business, main initiatives such sustainability projects (social responsibility, raising environmental awareness or others) Coordinate/ Draft messages or scripts from country management as well for the corporate office in D?sseldorf for presentation to employees in written or verbal form, which may also include announcements on organizational changes, urgent news, visits Ensure internal communications messages are consistent across all channels and if needed adjusted for different departments of the organization Ensure internal communication messages are consistent with external communication messages and therefore work in close collaboration with the marketing department Respond to feedback from staff and adjust communications content accordingly Handle the internal communication response to crisis situations which affect organizational perception and reputation Advise country management of developments throughout the organization, either face to face or through regular reporting Develop an internal survey/questionnaire tool to monitor the improvements in internal communications. % of improvement could be one of the KPI for the role Establish a groups of METRO KZ Ambassadors (volunteers) to reinforce internal development, cross-functional interactions and engagement of the company employees as well as to promote METRO as brand. Requirements: University degree Experience on a similar position or a previous experience in journalism is required Fluency in Russian, Kazakh and English is required Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills as well as the ability to source stories from employees Strong speaking skills and presentation skills to convey company’s goals and principles (values) Interpersonal and relationship-building skills to work with various groups of people within organization inclusive senior management Familiarity with information technology, especially digital and video means of communication is preferred Conditions: Experience in an International company Benefits package (medical insurance, discount on products, compensation of food) Professional development - education, trainings Opportunity for career growth
