We are looking for a SQL Database Developer / Support Engineer to join our international and dynamic team. Your main responsibilities: primary technical contact for our customers supporting the operation of our software and server Understanding and analysis of different web systems/services (SOAP, REST etc.) Developing new SQL connectors for the upper systems on top of our Logical Data Warehouse product What you bring to us from the professional side… Several years of professional experience in the software development company Fluent English and business communication skills are a must Analytical and problem-solving skills Good knowledge of SQL / Procedural SQL, understanding of common software technologies and principles (cloud computing, software deployment, Databases, ...) Experience in working with the REST and SOAP web services and the HTTP protocol in general Experience in JavaScript Experience working with Linux Experience in standard development chain like Maven, JIRA, Subversion, GIT, Jenkins Understanding of the internal SQL engine / RDBMS mechanisms Knowledge of following technologies/languages: XML, XPath, XQuery, JSON, CSV is a plus Basic programming languages knowledge (Java,JavaScript,Angular,...) or tech writer experience is a plus Experience in standard development chain like Maven, JIRA, Subversion, GIT, Jenkins What you bring to us from the personal side… Fluent spoken and written English is a must-have criterion Analytical thinking, pragmatic development approach with hands-on mentality Being a team-player, but also being able to solve problems independently A customer -first attitude.
