Reporting to the Area Manager Russia&CIS the Regional Operations Manager will have overall responsibility for all service deliverables primarily across CIS, interfacing and assisting where necessary with all parts of the region – including working closely with the Regional Sales teams maximising relationships and revenue within existing customers. You will utilise your service management skills to improve performance in order to achieve business targets. As the Regional Operations Manager you will develop and implement action plans, maximise revenue and demonstrate commitment to surpass internal and external customers’ expectations. Your existing technical understanding of ISE Aftermarket offering will act as a foundation to you developing critical product knowledge in line with our Aftermarket strategy. Crucial to this role will be your ability to determine our customer needs in order to align our value proposition with current and future expectations. As Regionals Operations Manager you will enhance your own and your teams service performance by combining strategic and tactical insight; by developing key partnerships you will convert customer-driven requirements into profitable solutions. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: * Deliver professional on-time service to our wide and varied customer base, covering all ISE Aftermarket service offering, qualifying the needs of existing and potential customers * Interface and work with other service teams within ISE to develop best practice procedures, including the Global Aftermarket Director * Align NOV’s regional strategy with current and future business strategies of existing and new customers * Ensure you have, or have access to, the necessary SMEs within your team and cross trained on all other ISE product lines * Effectively qualify opportunities, fully understanding the service process including conversion to order KPIs * Build and maintain strong business relationships with customers whilst maximising and realising increase in revenue potential * Provide input and direction during the contract risk review and bidding phase by working in conjunction with Proposals, Applications and Sales support teams * Create and distribute monthly/quarterly accurate service and activity plans to key stakeholders of the business * Interact with PLMs for each ISE BU offering up solutions to issues around field service * Interaction with the customer through communication methods or face to face where necessary, to provide effective customer service (e.g. but not limited to, Conference calls, CRM, Technical Clarification, Kick off meetings) * Effective management of service pipeline to ensure accurate revenue forecasting * Achieve NOV products inclusion on local AVLs * Meet region service revenue forecasts, KPIs and service metrics * Provide reactive and proactive customer support with clear, defined and documented follow up plan * Monitor customer issues, feedback, deadlines and deliverables and ensure customer issues are handled effectively and quickly * In conjunction with the RSM ensure proposals meet technical requirements of the bid and the capabilities of ISE Aftermarket a * Work effectively with other NOV groups within Completions & Production Solutions * Prepare Regional Annual Operating Plan (AOP) * Oversee/manage any technical/commercial changes to an order and communication of the same to the Customer via the RSM * The collating and issuing of status reports for both internal and external use and holding conference calls, where required * Customer visits, client office based support and intercompany travel throughout the region as and when required * Support other departments and carry out other duties as and when business requirements dictate as may be reasonably expected by your line manager. Experience: · Working knowledge within an assembly & manufacturing environment including the preparation of components Skills, training or special knowledge · Computer literacy (including good command of Microsoft Office Excel, Word and Outlook). · Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
