The hotel will embrace a specialty grill restaurant where guests enjoy an unrivaled service and sample the best ingredients or indulge in the flawless luxury of Iridium Spa after a long day of captivating city impressions or business meetings. POSITION PURPOSE: Proactively answer the telephone calls by communication methods with established The St Regis Astana Brand and Marriott/Starwood Standards. Will also be responsible for providing service excellence and facilitate problem resolution with both internal and external guests in accordance with The St Regis Service and brand standards. Demonstrate guest-friendly, business-sensitive decision making skills. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all hotel area events and activities so that guests will receive accurate and prompt information when requested. To provide information and services via telephone or by means of any other communication methods. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Coordinating room requests and defects. Assisting guests with late check-out requests by utilizing designated system to check availability and either secure or provide options when room is not available ensuring to charge appropriately when necessary. Input guest comments and messages. Check out rooms utilizing check out methods. Assist with room moves and room changes by clarifying room move process with guests, monitoring room availability status with housekeeping and perform simple category-for-category moves and update room statuses accordingly. Answer reservation inquiries and be able to confirm most reservation details, answer room type or category concerns, be able to confirm rate plan and inclusions. When unable to confirm simple changes, transfer to reservations as necessary. Must be able to handle guest complaints and take action to resolve problems; work with leadership team to ensure that no reasonable guest request is denied. Provide Emergency Response according to established procedures and coordinate responses with security and other departments in the event of an emergency. Ensure all Safety and Security brand standards are followed to ensure the safety of our guests and associates is not compromised. Perform Guest telephone or text call backs for follow up and to support guest satisfaction. Ensure all requests are followed through and completed. Perform post arrival guest call/text to ensure guest is welcomed to the property. Answer billing questions for in-house guests inquiring via telephone/text. Be able to explain in-house guest charges and billing inquiries. Pull receipts for researching outlet charges as necessary. Clarify simple post-stay billing inquiries. Be familiar with how credit card authorizations are processed and addressed Has knowledge of menus and can provide guests with further information. Advise guest of dining events and promotional's. In the absence of room service as required on overnight shift, take orders with 100% accuracy. Make dining reservations as required. Previous experience in Reservations/PBX is a must. SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of knowledge, skills, and abilities. Must be able to speak, write and converse freely in English, Russian and Kazakh Ability to speak in different languages is an advantage Must be very proactive QUALIFICATION STANDARDS: Education: Higher Education or equivalent required. Additional hospitality or butler training preferred. Experience: At least 1 year of experience within the hospitality industry. Grooming All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance per Starwood standards.
