G-Core Labs is inviting a Cyber Security Engineer for long-term full-time employment at its Minsk office. Engineers are responsible for the strength of company's cyber defense. Due to growth of the cyber security program at G-Core currently we have several vacancies in different areas of our program. What you will do Contributing to the development of strategies and architectures for G-Core’s secure cyber environments lDeveloping cyber security DDoS protection technology solutions for CDN, network and hosting products, including application of technology in areas such as intrusion detection, data analytics, malware analysis, authentication, identity and access management Assuring security of G-Core's cyber environment through detection, analysis, forensics and reverse engineering of malware Producing detailed and accurate reports of results and conclusions of analysis and engineering Participating in a cross-functional team to respond to cyber incidents and remediate attacks Collecting attack, investigation metrics and trending data Serving as G-Core's cyber security subject matter expert on both internal and external teams Required Skills Ability to analyze network traffic and packet capture to understand data flows and identify anomalous behavior Familiarity with the use of DDoS protection solutions like Arbor PF, Radware, Check Points firewalls and other vendor based threat mitigation Ability to analyze data structures and TCP/IP based protocols traffic patterns Deep knowledge in network design, implementation and administration, web services WAF protection, application servers, firewalls, routers, switches and unique technical approaches to providing strong network security Demonstrated software engineering experience with development tools (e. g. C/C++, Perl, Python) is appreciated Familiarity with secure-system design principles and information assurance principles, including next-generation networking and computing technologies Familiarity with informatics processes and tools for information extraction from large datasets or heterogeneous data sources Proven ability to research and develop technology solutions for cyber security (DDoS protection) applications Proven strong analytical skills Outstanding customer service orientation and teaming abilities Strong written and communication skills, ability to explain complex ideas clearly and concisely Graduate degree in Computer Science / Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Forensics, Mathematics, or related fields plus 8+ years of experience in big internet service provider Knowledge level or certification CCIE RS/SP Knowledge of Russian language (Native or Advanced) Knowledge of English language (Advanced) We offer Official employment, observance of the Labor Code of the Belarus Wide opportunities for career growth Enthusiastic and advanced team Competitive official salary Comfortable office near the centre of Minsk Free medical care in the leading medical centres of Minsk Corporate parties Compensation of sport membership expenses Coverage of 50% of the meals expenses in the corporate canteen Gifts to employees (for birthday, marriage, birth of children) Personal game account
