Category strategy collaboration and operational implementation: Perform and implement sourcing plans for defined categories as developed with the Procurement Manager Russia and regional CSM’s. Develop and maintain local supplier and market intelligence in collaboration with the regional Category Strategic Manager (“CSM”). In particular, actively support regional categories teams led by regional CSM and provide inputs and data analysis on spend management, and benefits capture to procurement management to aid CSM in strategy development for Pan-European countries. Execute WWP Strategic Sourcing Process and tools as appropriate for sourcing initiatives. Constantly identify ways of improvements in the purchasing & business process, tools (RFQ’s, RFI’s, RFP etc…) and policies/procedures, in the spirit of continuous improvement and total cost of acquisition Implement best practice solutions. Contract Negotiation and spot buying/ Transactional procurement: Identify and where appropriate lead and manage contract negotiations, ensuring price, quality and service targets and standards are achieved Identify cost savings opportunities and work with the Procurement Manager on follow up Seeks and exploits leverage opportunities across in-scope commodities within agreed sourcing strategy Create & approve contracts and ensures terms are supported by both Supplier and Pfizer within designated authority limits, ensuring compliance with legislation and the company’s policies and procedures. Review and maintain all supplier contracts. Liaise with internal Legal Department where required Edits requisitions, reviews specifications, quantity and quality of merchandise to ensure that orders are placed and received in the requested time frame In concert with customer and Procurement Manager, develops new supply solutions and improves internal processes. Provide a monthly report on activities, sourcing initiatives, vendor analysis and problems for defined categories. Ensure savings and value added are tracked and reported into Ariba Sourcing tool. Gain involvement and participation of key Stakeholders and Finance Colleagues on procurement initiatives. Profile and education Minimum 2 to 3 years experience in Purchasing functions, in large Corporations desirable B.S. (or equivalent) in business or a technical discipline. Master’s Degree desirable Skills: Procurement experience is essential, ideally within marketing & sales categories, but not essential Strong analytical skills. Good communication and presentation skills - verbal and written. Common IT skills – particularly in spreadsheet, word processing and presentation packages. Proven negotiation and influencing skills Able to work at all levels of the organization Excellent languages skills. English as a must
