Transportation (Airport/ Venue/ Hotel) Supervisor. 2018 FIFA World Cup Date of project: July 4th - 12th, 2018 during the FIFA World Cup. This date is mandatory and no day can be missed. Responsibilities: - Manages all airport assistant staff including meet and greet/directional, Escorts (= Bus Hosts), and luggage assistants working at the airport, ensuring that they are at their designated post and prepared to assist guests - Supervises the vehicle/driver check-in procedure reviewing the schedule for the day ensuring drivers are following the same schedule and dealing with any issues arising - Manages all assigned Transportation Coordinators/Directional Staff working at specific venue: either Football Stadium, Activity and Leisure destination, ensuring that they are at their designated post and prepared to assist guests, and clear on their instructions - Knowledgeable about airport specifics (entrances/exits, meeting points, washrooms) - Knowledgeable about the venue specifics (entrances/exits, meeting points) - Advances venue to ensure route clear and correct and drop-off/unload and parking areas are clear and without change - Continuously updates all staff on operational changes - Supervises the vehicle/driver check-in procedure reviewing the schedule for the day ensuring drivers are following the same schedule and dealing with any issues arising - Keeps updated schedule of arrivals/departures and logs any issues that arise (lost luggage, missing attendees, etc.) - Monitors arrival and/or departure flight changes - Briefing and positioning supplementary escort/ directional staff - Ensure coach signage is provided and new ones printed when required - Ensures guests are assisted off returning vehicles and directed safely to the hotel - Assist in the luggage storage, handling and co-ordination procedure in conjunction with the Hotel Transport Manager - Guards the luggage kerbside until the hotel porters have collected it - Ensures all arriving luggage has identification - Monitors hotel room availability and timely distribution of luggage - Welcomes each incoming vehicle, briefs and directs guests to the hotel if there is no host - Sound local knowledge of airport terminals road systems and provide instructions if necessary - Make sure the vehicles have the correct signage, coolers, garbage bags, DVDs, are in the correct bay and driver knows where they are going - Greet attendees as they return from venues or arrive from airport - Manage the loading and unload operation of guests - Clearly hold and display a lollipop with interchangeable signage for all departures throughout the day changing the signage when appropriate - Assists with special duties outside of normal job that may be assigned during World Cup time General Requirements: - Ability to work up to 10 – 12 hour shifts and to be flexible if required to work more throughout the duration of programme - Speaks Russian and English - Knowledge of Lap top computers and Tablet (iPad ) and ability to operate device - Any other languages are a plus! - Willingness to wear staff uniform - Willingness to attend computer training and learn special Transpo System Qualifications: - Strong communication skills and fluent Russian and English speaking - Excellent customer service skills and customer experience - Experience in leading a team - Excellent working knowledge of local Airport, including private jet arrivals and departures - Knowledge of Stadiums and Program included leisure & activity destinations - Excellent knowledge of managing (working with) support services at airports – i.e. porters, security and secured access, commissionaires, information desk, vehicle holding lots, lost luggage, airline contact representatives, etc. - Good working knowledge of customs/immigration process (as it relates to arrivals/departures) - Must be able to assist with loading and unloading of guest luggage - Must have the ability to work outside for extended periods - Crisis management skills and able to quickly problem solving We offer temporary labor contract for the 8-day project with daily rate 10400 RUR.
