Our client is a highly known international brand from the tools and maintenance industry. For their subsidiary, based in Baku , we are currently hiring a Managing Director. Position The MD will be based in Baku in the operating sales and service (B2B & B2C) subsidiary with 10 employees and approx. 2 Mio € annual turnover. Your task will include: Elevating the business to the next level and ensuring the further growth and achievement of sales and profit targets, taking over responsibility for PnL and all operations (finance, order management, indirect and direct sales), Working closely with both regional and global headquarters in order to set up a mid- and long-term strategy, Developing a strong multichannel sales structure, including direct sales and services as well as dealer development, Leading and guiding the team and being a central figure in promoting the organization’s culture and its shared values especially during a phase of growth and organizational changes. Your qualification For this position you should have a strong business mindset in order to help to elevate the whole organization to the next level. Furthermore you should have: A relevant university degree (e.g. management, business administration) and several years’ experience in senior level general or sales management positions in international companies, A backround in commercial durable businesses like power tool, construction or material handling equipment, industrial vehicles, outdoor and gardening devices etc., A strategic and structured way of acting and thinking with a focus on performance and results, Fluency in Azerbaijani, Russian and English (both written and orally), Strong leadership skills and experience in coaching and mentoring teams to ensure their continuous professional development.
