One of our biggest client (Oil & Gas Production Company) is looking for " Operations Readiness and Assurance (ORA) Engineer " ? Work schedule: 5/2, Aktau office (relocation) Purpose of position: A seasoned professional with sufficient skill and competency to communicate with and guide the key stakeholders, within or outside COMPANY, with the aim of realising a(n): 1. Operations Organisation ready for life-cycle Operations 2. Commissioning and Start-up Readiness (CSU) 3. Flawless Project Delivery (Flawless Start-up) 4. Maintenance & Integrity, Asset Integrity and Process Safety 5. Total Reliability & Technical Asset Integrity during the Project Phases and during the initial Startup (Performance period) 6. Demonstration of Operability & Maintainability at each Project Milestone 7. Handover to Asset Management for safe and sustained production operations The ORA Engineer will be the focal point for all Operations Readiness input (incl. CSU) to the Project Manager and his design team in FEED/Contractors offices. This role will support the Commissioning & Startup Manager during the Execution Phase of the Project Key responsibilities: Production Operations Department, LM – Project Manager 1. Responsible for the successful implementation of Operations Readiness (OR) for all Projects executed within the COMPANY Kazakhstan Branch Office (BO). 2. Provide leadership & direction to planning & execution of OR activities across the whole Project portfolio. 3. Responsible for the timely Project Delivery of Systems, Procedures, Contracts and Organisation. 4. Allowing the Asset to accept the Projects and be ready for sustainable Operations and Maintenance phase. 5. Responsibility for the effective integration of Operations, Inspection and Maintenance requirements into Engineering Designs (e.g. Operability & Maintainability). 6. Participate in technical and safety reviews (e.g. HAZOP, HAZID, HEMP, IPF, Desk top safety and Design Reviews) to ensure HSE compliance and technical integrity in design. 7. Implement elements of Flawless Project Delivery (once introduced within COMPANY BO) and Lessons Learned process as applicable and approved by the contract. 8. Participate in any Operability and Maintainability Reviews of the Design. 9. Provide input to ensure the Functionality, Safe operation and Reliability of designs from an operational perspective. 10. Guide the development of OR best practice to lay robust foundations for delivery of OR support across the Branch Office Projects. 11. Maintain a global network of OR contacts to ensure Best Practice & Lessons Learned are captured & where applicable, implemented. 12. Good understanding of interfaces between the existing Facilities as related to Pipelines, Hardware and Software. 13. Develop, analyse and assess Project execution strategies with respect to sound and safe commissioning and start-up. 14. Participate in Project assurance reviews and Operations Readiness reviews. 15. Work closely COMPANY support functions and Contractor organizations 16. Support the Project Management Team to develop the HSSE culture, particularly HSE in design, through enforcing existing standards (enhancing if necessary and appropriate), while ensuring that all COMPANY staff are compliant with COMPANY HSE standards. 17. Provide guidance, coaching and on-the-job training to co-located Project engineering personnel. Requirements: Relevant professional experience - > 10 years
