Principal Accountabilities: STRATEGY & EXECUTION LEADERSHIP: Leads development and implementation of transportation & logistics long term vision and strategic direction for business in Russia including long-range objectives, policies and strategy. Responsible for ensuring Business/Function needs are represented and incorporated into strategies. Provides management oversight and support to successfully execute short and long term transportation & logistics strategies. Actively participates in and presents at weekly/monthly meetings, including peers and other transportation & logistics leadership. May participate in monthly meetings, including transportation & logistics leaders, other Group and/ or Enterprise Leaders and peers at the country/regional level. Using a comprehensive knowledge of transportation & logistics practices and procedures, understands markets in order to identify opportunities for Cargill business. May determine strategic, local/country vendors, and lead the contract negotiations, and overall selection and relationship management of those strategic vendors. Leads the T&L department within business in Russia. BUDGET & RESOURCE MANAGEMENT: Oversees overall budget for a transportation & logistics within business in Russia. Manages and aligning resources to execute against short term and long term strategies and meeting transportation & logistics organization objectives. May build and direct a team of transportation & logistics leadership and professionals. STRATEGY COMPLIANCE MONITORING & MEASUREMENT: Establishes targets and goals and tracks performance against them. Identifies, generates and tracks value metrics to measure transportation & logistics performance, as well as capture and recommend corporate-wide continuous process improvements. Ensures all transportation & logistics activities comply with Corporate/CTL/regulatory policies/controls. TRANSPORTATION & LOGISTICS ACTIVITY OVERSIGHT: Responsible for directing all transportation & logistics activities within business in Russia. Partners with senior leadership to manage standard transportation & logistics which may have significant financial or competitive risk and/or risk to Cargill strategy, brand, or global reputation. Accountable for achieving transportation & logistics targets and goals. Partners with senior transportation & logistics team members in ensuring reliable service delivery to internal clients and external customers. May jointly own the service level agreement between CTL and Businesses. PEOPLE MANAGEMENT: Leads and provides coaching to operations, freight sourcing, mode analytics and/or fleet management teams, including coaching Cargill’s core values. Participates in the selection of operations, freight sourcing, mode analytics and/or fleet management team members, and plans for future workforce needs. Partners with other members of the department/local/country transportation & logistics leadership team to develop, manage and engage talent. Other areas of management may include, but are not limited to: human resources, finance, supply chain management, and commercial management. Education, Experience, Skills: Required Qualifications University degree 7 years experience in Logistics Supervisory experience Deep knowledge of logistic terms and conditions and transport legislation Proven expertise in forwarding, circles/wash-outs, claims, pipeline management. Deep knowledge of physical distribution and/or shipping including chartering knowledge Knowledge of silo operations Procurement skills Negotiation skills Good communicator Team Player Capable to work under strict time constraints Stress proof Solution / Result driven Commercial affinity Analytical English Verbal and Written IT affinity (ERP / transportation tools) Preferred Qualifications University degree in Logistics & Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Materials Science; Knowledge of insurance procedures Knowledge of Customs and Tax legislation Knowledge of HACCP Knowledge of root cause analysis Knowledge of claim handling English language - intermediate Experience in agro environment Conditions: working in a large, stable international production company; competitive salary level; medical insurance, relocation package for nonresident candidates; opportunity for professional and career growth; professional collective ????? ?????
