Payments & Cheques provide the technology for payments, one of the most fundamental and critical capabilities of the Corporate Bank’s Cash Management business. Our platforms sit at the heart of Deutsche Bank and our business partners and clients rightly have the highest expectations for transformative delivery and innovative solutions, with a continuous focus on scalability, resilience and regulatory compliance. We support the full range of payment types, clearing systems and client types across the globe, from bulk low-value payments made by corporate clients, to 24x7 instant payments made by retail clients, to individual high-value payments made by financial institutions. Our change programmes and solutions ensure the DB Cash Management business keeps its position at the forefront of this dynamic and highly competitive market. Our team is widening this year from 8 developers in NY to 18 people. What You’ll Do Your role includes design, build and automate new robust solution based on containers orchestration (Openshift): implement and maintain fully automated CI&CD pipeline for Payments application components manage solutions that maintain configuration and robustness for Kafka and Hazelcast clusters, Payments application components support on boarding on cloud for new components, assist in diagnosis of technical issues/bugs and works with development group to resolve more advanced issues when necessary administration and performance tuning for Linux servers performance analysis and capacity planning You are expected to contribute to the vision, understand our product roadmap, integrate business value with experience and contribute to building an engineering culture within the team. We expect the successful candidate to deliver high quality automation solutions and to be passionate about software engineering and cloud computing. You must have a proficient understanding of software development and cloud management concepts. You will also be responsible to develop easy to support software and liaise with our SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) team to factor in their requirements.
