Senior Custody & Settlement Officer (переезд из России в другую страну) Job description Custody & Securities Settlement Provide for safekeeping of financial assets of the Bank and customers Settle custodian transfers Confirm and settle transactions executed by the Treasury Department and Investment Service Department (proprietary and broker dealing in financial instruments, derivatives, securities financing transactions) Follow up with counterparties regarding settlement of deals and obtaining necessary documents. Prepare and arrange for signing of documents, agreements, confirmations for transactions between the Bank and its clients initiated by the Treasury Department and Investment Service Department Reconcile securities holdings between Bank’s records and statements from sub-custodians Collect income and other proceeds for financial assets kept in Bank’s custody and distribute it to the holders of financial assets Monitor corporate actions and appropriate data exchange with securities holders, sub-custodians and issuers Input of relevant static data in Bank’s systems (T24) Accrue and collect Bank’s fees for custodian services from customers Timely distribute of statements of holdings to customers Recordkeeping & filing Create correct accounting entries for transactions in Bank’s IT system(s) Maintain internal registers of transactions of Treasury and Investment Services Departments where necessary File documents related transactions and its settlement Valuation Upload securities market prices into Bank’s system Perform daily monitoring of transactions’ exposure with margin, calculate and settle margin calls Reporting Provide for internal and regulatory reporting as per Bank’s procedures Other Back up Money market & settlement officer in her absence and provide for the following: Confirm and settle transactions executed by the Treasury (inter-bank money takings and placements, inter-bank FX deals and derivatives and others as per Bank’s procedures) Follow up with FX/MM counterparties regarding settlement of deals and obtaining necessary documents. Skills & Experience University Degree in a related field; A minimum of 5 years’ experience in banking industry in a similar position; Strong knowledge of SWIFT rules and legislation (MT5XX, MT3XX); Experience in T24 (Temenos) will be considered a strong advantage; Attention to detail/ accuracy; Ability to work on own initiative and be proactive; Fluent in English.
