Overview An excellent opportunity has become available to join International company as a Project Engineer in Russia. The successful candidate will provide technical support to Project teams at all stages of project execution for new rotating equipment orders. This will ensure interaction and bridge communication between Project Departments and Customers. The nature of the job is designed to provide the foundation and opportunity for learning and growth. The individual will be encouraged to develop their contribution to the Project Engineering department. The successful candidate would need to be comfortable in working independently and quick decision making. Responsibilities As a Project Engineer, your main responsibilities will involve: Handle all the commercial, contractual, technical and administration aspects of a project, such as but not limited to: Providing local support to Project teams at all stages of the project execution Assisting the Lead Project Engineer in resolving technical matters to include technical clarification and internal design specifications. Acting as an interface between internal departments, sub vendors and external customers. Reviewing and analyzing of customer specifications. Creation of purchase requisitions for material procurement, including all supporting technical documentation. Providing due diligence in the retention of information to maintain adequate knowledge of projects for downstream operations. Coordinating document translations (Russian to English) and product certification with local authorities. Assisting in project management including financial issues, payments, logistics and responsible for local project activities including: interaction with the local certification authorities and interaction with the local expert and project departments for developing and issue Technical Passports in accordance with GOST standard. Learning departmental process work standards and tools for the Project Engineers use to achieve best-in-class contract execution. Developing technical and commercial capabilities, to allow personal development and career growth. Promoting a positive attitude for a safe and healthy work environment, as well as awareness for high quality products and services. Providing engineering support at all stages of the project execution. Assisting in other areas as required or requested. Qualifications As a Project Engineer, your skills and qualifications will ideally include : Mechanical Engineering degree with a technical background and knowledge on Rotating equipment (compressor and Steam Turbine preferably) Comfortable with reading and reviewing Technical and Commercial specifications. Knowledge or understanding of Project Engineering and Project Management processes. Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage several tasks simultaneously. Must have an aptitude to interact and maintain a good working relationship with internal and external contacts. Excellent working knowledge of MS Office in Word, Excel and MS Project and other software is a must Previous experience working for a Russian legal entity of a Global company desired. Fluent English language skills spoken and written.
