ManyChat is a marketing automation platform. We create the tool that enables businesses all over the world to bypass slow and ineffective channels of communication, and interact with millions of clients in real time. We face ambitious goals and tasks, until now our product was focused on Facebook Messenger marketing, and currently we're entering new communication channels — for now it's SMS and E-mail marketing. In the near future we'll be entering other communication channels too (various messengers). The main foundations of working in ManyChat are the fast decision making, easygoing atmosphere, and the ability to see our actions paying off. We want to replace bureaucracy with transparent communications, and management – with freedom of implementation and responsible behavior. Responsibilities & Skills • Be responsible for all general ledger activities for an exciting Series A startup; • Manage monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with US GAAP, as well as Russian accounting standards; • Create and maintain the financial statements and analysis reports; • Operate with business partners to create compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls and provide support on special requests; • Organize annual reviews and testing with internal and external auditors; • Assemble monthly consolidated P&L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting; • Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing, with functional department managers; • Aptitude for analyzing financial data and generating accurate reports in a timely manner; • Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision; • Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity; • Critical thinking skills and the ability to retain complex work directions. Requirements • BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred; • Written and verbal English fluency; • 3+ years of overall general accounting experience; • Work experience in an IT company is desirable.
