An American FinTech company is looking for a Junior Investigation Analyst to carry out investigations in the digital asset space. The job will involve working with large financial and blockchain datasets, investigating alerts, generating reports and visualizations for publication, and providing intelligence assistance to our clients, including US Securities and Exchange Commission, Bermuda Monetary Authority, Forbes, Fidelity, and many others. This can be a part-time of a full-time position with a flexible schedule and the possibility to assume more responsibilities. Duties - Finding and investigating suspicious activity in the marketplace (i.e. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I-Um62NPm0A). - Finding correlations between seemingly unconnected market events. - Configuring Machine Learning/ Deep Learning models. - Creating and maintaining market manipulations metrics. - Creating investigation reports for clients and providing support for client's investigators. - Teaching power users on the client's side to use our tools. Tools Our company already has all the necessary expertise, data, and analytical tools. We'll teach you how to use them. - Nakamoto Terminal (nterminal.com) - Splunk (splunk.com) - GitLab (gitlab.com) General Requirements - Fluent English. We are an international team and most of the business is conducted in English. French/Russian is a plus. - Independence. There will be no marching orders. You are expected to organize your day, get the work done, and speak up when there's a problem. - High level of professional ethics and attention to detail. You'll be treating sensitive information on a daily basis. We need you to handle it with care. - Willingness to learn. We can teach you everything and don't have any strict experience requirements, but you must be willing to learn new tools every day. Conditions - You'll be a part of a small team of computer engineers, security experts, scientists, mathematicians, and finance experts from the US, Europe, and Russia. - You will be hired as a contractor with a choice of how and when you want to get paid. We are open to students and part-time candidates! - You'll get to work on cutting edge technologies in IT security, blockchain, and finance. - We have a clear and open business process on GitLab.
