Dell EMC Midrange organization looks for the talented and skillful engineer to take on the Software QA Engineer position Core Quality Assurance Team in Saint Petersburg, Russia. From the candidates we expect hands-on QA experience for enterprise back-end systems or solid troubleshooting skills as L3/L4 support engineer or Linux Administrator or Storage Administrator and desire to switch to QA role, spoken English (because our team is distributed between Russia, Israel and US). General Summary Successful individual will take the role of Software QA Engineer and will contribute into test automation, execution and results analysis. Candidate should be comfortable on learning new products and tools. Duties and Responsibilities Everyday work on updating existing automated test scenarios (Python), tracking test cycles execution results, manual tests execution. Isolate, reproduce and track bugs and verify fixes. Document test results and manage and maintain defect and test case databases to assist in the continuous improvement and modification of software. Required Competencies BS or MS in technical field required (engineering, computer science, etc.). 2+ years in QA or 3+ in L3/L4 Technical Support or System Administration Knowledge of QA flows and techniques Experience in test cases design, execution and analysis Troubleshooting skills, ability to reproduce and document the issue Experience with Linux operating systems (preferably RHEL/CentOS) Experience with Python (or other programming languages and willingness to switch to Python) Desired Competencies Experience with storage solutions (filers, block storage, replication, etc. from any vendor) Experience with REST APIs Working experience with the following tools: JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins is a big plus Experience in QA of hardly coupled hardware/software solutions – great advantage Joining us, you will get Salary to be discussed on the results of the interview, but not lower than the markets average; Medical, Life insurance for employees and your family in Russia and abroad; Opportunity to train in different sport teams: volleyball, football, kicker, chess, cycling, etc; Opportunity to participate in sports competitions among IT Community; Corporate trainings and certifications; corporate English classes; Possibility in flexible working hours and working from home; 36 days of paid vacation days plus 2 paid days off; Paid sick days; doctor’s consultation at the office; Opportunity to participate in charity activities; Comfortable 24/7 office in the city center; Partial reimbursement of any sport activities; Regular teambuilding and corporate events; Corporate laptop.
