We are looking for the Standards and Assessment Manager (HOD) with an experience in the Quality Control and Assessment Analysis who is a strong communicator, facilitator and advocate for standards, quality and business changes. The incumbent will lead the development of evaluation framework, criteria and requirements and evaluate the schools in education system of Uzbekistan to ensure that specific standards in teaching, learning, school leadership, students’ accomplishment, and health and safety criteria are being achieved and maintained. Main duties include ensuring that all requirements are met before all schools receive the accreditation. You will be responsible for participating in internal assessments and audits. Serve as a technical liaison between quality control in schools and Public Education Ministry. This position reports directly to the General Director of ITSM. An excellent Standards and Assessment Manager has eyes like a hawk and solid experience in quality control. If you are keen on maintaining standards in education and like to travel to different places in your work, this job could be ideal for you. The main goal is to assess the quality of schools’ operations and services aiming to the long-term success of education system. Kindly ask you to carefully familiarize with the job functionality and requirements! The role will involve: Developing the evaluation framework, requirements and criteria for assessment. Closely monitoring and examining each stage of the assessment processes. Making sure that schools principals follow the documented procedures and standards. Making sure that principals participate in all safety related training workshops if necessary. Working with a group of principals on assessment matter. Giving feedback to the schools. Be on the lookout for opportunities for improvement and develop new efficient procedures. Making sure assessment team keeps accurate documentation and performs statistical analysis. Supervising inspectors, technicians and other staff and provide guidance and feedback. Leading and developing all staff in own team to ensure they carry out their job responsibilities effectively. Responsible for project review and evaluation to ensure that project align with the President’s Decree and achievement goals. Developing and administering the budget for assessment. Working with the schools to collect and analyze their data for informing opportunities for students to enable success after graduation. Requirements: Master’s degree in Curriculum, Educational Administration, Economics with Finance or related field. Experience with data management and analysis Confident user of assessment tools Excellent verbal and written communication in Uzbek and Russian, English is advantage Strong research and decision-making skills Ability to develop effective working relationships Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines The ability to give constructive feedback and advice The ability to make objective judgements Positive attitude Our Mission: Our mission is to develop a public education system in Uzbekistan, introduce modern innovative technologies taking into account the use of digital technologies, web platforms, software products and information systems, conduct strategic analysis and planning for the further development of the public education.
