CKH International is an Atlanta-based accounting firm, offering powerful financial solutions to individuals, SMEs and corporations, both public and private. We are looking for smart and active members, who could assist our tax department in preparation of financial statements, sales and local tax returns, corporate and individual tax returns under the supervision of CPA from the head office (USA). This is a great opportunity to grow and increase your knowledge of accounting, taxation, English, work in the international and friendly environment. You need to have a great attitude to work and to meet below requirements: Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics Fluent German and Upper-Intermediate knowledge of English (spoken and written skills) Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel Accounting/taxation/audit/finance experience Ability to work in time constraints, set priorities, do multiple tasks, work under pressure Result-oriented — we are looking for people who want to conquer the world and help us to build a successful, professional department Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines Responsibilities: Making entries in accounting software (SAP, QuickBooks, Thomson reuters CS professional suite) Preparation of Financial statements Preparation of payroll and sales tax returns Processing clients source documents (checks, bank statements, loan statements etc.) Making accounting entries in accounting software (QuickBooks, Accounting CS) on monthly, quarterly and annual basis Bank reconciliation Preparation and review of financial statements and making adjustments Preparation of individual and corporate tax returns for US clients Use tax research (analysis whether the use tax is valid or should be reversed) Filling tax returns to DORs Analyze and check primary documents related to Accounts Payable on a daily basis. Communication with the client: regarding invoices queries, approvals etc. Perform yearly and monthly accruals booking/utilization together with other month-end and year-end closing transactions.
