Are you an outstanding Android Developer with a big passion for coding and evolving yourself within your profession? Are you looking for adventure? On behalf of our client in Gothenburg, Lingonberry Talent Acquisition is looking for skilled coders who want to relocate to Sweden and be part of a world-class international team of developers. Our client is a major international software development consultancy, and we are now helping them recruit Android developers for assignments at Volvo and CEVT. The tasks include developing Android mobile apps for smartphones, and Android applications for the infotainment console inside cars and trucks. You get to be a part of leading the digital transformation of the automotive industry and improve the experience for millions of people across the world! The teams work according to agile principles and continuous integration. You will be working in close collaboration with your teammates and Product Owner. Together you will overcome all obstacles to code, test, and release a world class Android application. The tech stack includes Java, Android SDK, NDK, C++, REST APIs, websockets, Bluetooth, Wifi, SQL. Located on the Swedish west coast, Gothenburg is the second largest city in Sweden. The population in the metropolitan area, including satellite towns, is around one million. Besides being a center for the tech industry, Gothenburg offers a rich cultural life and a booming entertainment sector, with plenty of bars, restaurants, sporting events, concerts and much more. Required Skills (we think you have all of these) Java Good knowledge of the Android SDK Design patterns for Android Working experience from Android projects Unit Testing, JUnit, Espresso SQL Experience working with Agile methodologies Fluent in English Delicious Extra Skills C++ Android NDK Robolectric Experience working with continuous integration Experience from automotive Driver’s license (Yes, you might get to test drive new cars in development, running with your Android apps!)
