On behalf of our partner we are looking for Senior Developer to join the development team and be a major stakeholder in driving the development of TimeLOG Web, an innovative and feature-rich cloud-based workforce management solution. TimeLOG Web helps organisations around the world effectively manage their workforce. With a host of modules available, which include time & attendance, access control, cashless payments, field engineer management and expenses management, TimeLOG Web is a fully featured suite of software that can also be tailored to meet bespoke requirements. Working closely with the UK Product Manager, the Senior Developer will have input into the future product roadmap and have day-to-day responsibility working with and driving the local development team to ensure development tasks are completed on time, to the required specification and to the highest standards of quality. Key responsibilities: As a senior developer, you will be a full stack programmer and have demonstrable experience of tackling challenging projects using the following languages and methodologies: • Must be competent at using: - Java programming. - Net Framework. - C#. - ASP.Net MVC. - WPF application. - Web Development. - SQL Server. - Ability with in-depth understanding of underpinning techniques. • Experience in full software development life-cycle from design to deployment. • A proven track record of developing high quality software to business specification whilst understanding processes and requirements. • Experience using SCRUM or other Agile methodologies. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. • Perform 3rd line support as required. As well as being able to meet the development criteria yourself, you also must be able to demonstrate leading a team of software developers to achieve desired results: • Day to day management of the development team. • Responsibility for the overall output of the team. • Ensure that development standards, policies and procedures are adhered to. • Ensure that projects are accurately estimated and delivered to schedule. • Train and integrate new team members and proactively support the continued development of existing team members. • Proactively report to stakeholders keeping the wider business well-informed of the work currently in development and its progress. The person The successful candidate will work well with remote contacts and be a great communicator. You will be able to prioritise effectively to meet the needs of the business and have demonstrable success in working with complex software projects.
