As Director of Studies in a Kids and Teens school you are fully responsible for providing high teaching standards in your Centre, improving production, recruiting teachers of the highest standards, supporting your team both on and off site and developing new projects. You should be pro-active, goal orientated and able to deliver effective training and workshops, constantly helping to improve the academic quality of the Centre and lead your team to new achievements. Your responsibilities will include : Constant improvement of the academic quality of the Centre Teacher support, effective training sessions and workshops Lesson observations and staff development Recruiting teachers of the highest standards Establishing clear goals and priorities for the academic staff Scheduling lessons and extra curriculum activities Delivering high-quality language lessons to kids and teenagers Dealing with the Centre staff and academic issues Customer communication and conflict resolution Organizing and conducting placement testing for potential students Participating in and monitoring academic projects Monitoring and managing KPI (Key Performance Indicators) You are: Pro-active in all areas of responsibility Highly motivated and well-organized Able to handle difficult situations positively Professional in appearance, dress and manner Flexible in approaches to work based on ongoing experience and local conditions Able to manage people and processes effectively Qualifications: University Degree (Linguistics, Teaching English, Philology) Advanced English competency (CAE or CPE certificates are an advantage) Teaching Experience, minimum four years (kids and teens groups of various levels) At least 1 year of similar working experience TKT certificates/CELTA/DELTA/Trinity Diploma are an advantage Knowledge of teaching methods and approaches (A thorough knowledge of EFL methodology) Leadership and conflict resolution skills Confident user of modern technologies and business software Excellent communication and interpersonal skills EF English First and EF Englishtown are divisions of EF, committed to teaching English around the world.
