Project Description: One of our product - is the home of Network Detective, the award-winning IT software tools built for Managed Service Providers (MSPs). We recently had a QA person left us for another job and instead of re-hiring in Atlanta, we decided to hire QA in Minsk office. There is still 1 manual QA tester in Atlanta and 1 test automation engineer in Atlanta. The candidate will be joining that team. There are 4 components to our products which they will be testing: 1. A desktop application written in C# and using WinForms (traditional Windows application) 2. Data collectors which run on a computer network and gather information. 3. A web portal used for our Cyber Hawk and Compliance Manager products that is used by Managed Service Providers as well as their customers. 4. Reports. These are the output of our products. They are generated in documents in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point. Requirements: The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a variety of operating systems like Windows, MacOS, and Linux and be able to run command line applications. They should also be able to follow methodical steps and document their success and failures. The position is a great learning opportunity as the candidate will exposed to many new operating systems and potentially new challenges working with devices like routers and switches that they no other QA position could afford. Tech Description: They will be using Jira as the primary ticketing system and potentially Zephyr as a QA platform. We currently use SynapseRT but will be moving to Zephyr in the coming months. The candidate will be managed by a QA manager in Atlanta and our hours of operations are 9 am ET to 5 pm ET, but we work schedules are flexible and can be done before or after. Code is written currently in C# and Angular (for web). We believe the opportunity is a great one and we believe we will be growing the QA team in Minsk over the years. We service over 8000+ Managed Service providers last month, over 500,000 reports were generated using our software. Our support organization only consists of 5 people to service the high number of customers, so quality is of the highest importance.
