Elinext (alliance of companies with offices in different countries) is an IT consulting company that have been delivering software development services on time and budget since 1997. We are searching for a Systems Administrator who will become a part of our Minsk office team. Hard Skills: Linux expertise: Incident response, maintenance (updates, software installation). Computer Networks Proficiency: Routing, LAN/WAN, Firewall Management, Network Troubleshooting. Virtualization experience: Understanding virtualization principles for VM creation, specifically using Proxmox. Shell Scripting: Proficient in scripting for various Linux tasks. Web Servers: Proficiency in configuring and managing web servers such as Nginx. Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal skills for working as a Support Engineer, handling employee requests. Tech Stack: Operating System: Linux gateways (Debian) with a custom firewall system (Python + iptables) and OpenVPN. Network Equipment: Routers, Switches, Wi-Fi hotspots. Virtualization Platform: Proxmox as the internal VM system. Web Servers: Nginx, Tomcat. Email hosting: CPanel/WHM, Microsoft 365 Exchange. Version Control: Gitlab. Backup System: TrueNAS for internal backups. Monitoring System: Zabbix, Grafana. Bonus Skills: English language at Intermediate+ and above level. Experience with Git version control. Python scripting skills. Understanding microservice architecture principles (Docker, Docker Compose). Database Knowledge (MySQL). Understanding of Configuration Management principles (Ansible). Responsibilities: Maintenance and support of Linux-based infrastructure, including virtualization, backups and networking components. Deployment and configuration of new servers and services. Management of the custom firewall system and ensuring the security of the network. Configuration and maintenance of web servers. Administration of Microsoft 365, including license management. Administration of cPanel/WHM for email hosting. Support users and resolve technical issues, acting as a point of contact for employee requests. Participation in projects to enhance and optimize the IT infrastructure.
