About Us: Wayy.co is a funded, US-based, cutting-edge AI startup creating a Success Co-Pilot with a mission to connect and empower individuals to achieve their professional and financial aspirations. Our unique data science success model revolutionizes education & training, hiring & career services, as well as professional services. As we embark on an exciting phase of growth, we are seeking a visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technical efforts and shape the future of AI at our company. Position Overview: As our CTO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our technology strategy, driving innovation, and leading our team of talented engineers. You will be responsible for building and scaling our platform (currently web application + mobile app in the near future), ensuring the highest standards of technical excellence, and driving the development of next-generation AI products and services. This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing AI startup and make a significant impact on the future of AI technology. Key Responsibilities: Technical Leadership: Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for our technology stack, ensuring alignment with our business goals and objectives. Team Management: Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing team of engineers and specialists. Research and Innovation: Stay at the forefront of AI advancements, fostering a culture of innovation, and leading R&D efforts to keep our solutions cutting-edge. Technical Architecture: Define and implement robust technical architectures that can scale and adapt to evolving business requirements. Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality, reliability, and security of our systems through rigorous testing and validation processes. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and product management to ensure alignment and successful product launches. Budget Management: Develop and manage the technology budget, making strategic investments in infrastructure, tools, and talent. Qualifications: MOST IMPORTANT: This is a hands-on start-up CTO position. We expect the CTO to write code and actively solve various technical problems. Minimum of 7 years of software engineering experience with at least 2 years in technology leadership roles. Strong record of fast & consistent product delivery in an early startup environment. Proven track record of developing and scaling products and services. Good understanding of machine learning, deep learning, and data science. Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). Exceptional leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for innovation. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) preferred. Fluent English language (C1 English (Advanced)+) Experience and readiness to work in a dynamic startup environment.
