Plant manager is part of the management team of the O&M Company within the Power Complex with overall accountability and responsibility for safe, efficient, reliable and environmentally compliant operations & maintenance activities. Responsibilities: • Provide the leadership and direction to the O&M team to administer and manage safe, efficient, reliable and environmentally compliant operation of the power station • Ensure O&M production and performance targets are met in relations availability, reliability & efficiency as defined within contractual obligations, and ensure overall compliance with contractual terms and conditions • Oversee, manage, operate and maintain assets in accordance with applicable regulation and best practices and in line with best-in-class standards, and established policies and procedures • Develop and implement comprehensive O&M policies and procedures to ensure integrity of the asset is effectively managed • Oversee the contractor’s performance within the Long-Term Service Agreement (LTSA) to ensure their compliance with all technical and commercial aspects of the agreement • Ensure efficient delivery of outages within defined costs, schedule, quality and HSE goals • Ensure O&M budgets are developed and executed, whilst ensuring sustainable long-term performance of assets • Develop and maintain culture and process to continuously assess operational performance to identify value creation opportunities • Design and drive implementation of change management initiatives to improve performance of the assets by increasing revenues and optimizing costs Essential: • Fluent in written and spoken English and Russian • Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering • Further degrees in Business Administration preferred • 15 years of experience in the power industry with at least 8 years in the position of a plant manager • Hands-on experience in managing plant operations and handling contractual requirements Preferred: • Experience working in the CIS region Skills and Experience: • Detailed understanding of power plant operations and maintenance strategies and associated support systems • Extensive experience and deep understanding of contractual framework in the power sector, including key commercial drivers and levers • Experience in developing and implementing plant operations policies, procedures and regulations • Experience in change management, including designing and executing complex transformation projects • Detailed knowledge and understanding of health and safety issues associated with operating a thermal power plant utilising differing technologies • Highly competent, hardworking, self-motivated individual with strong focus on safety and environmental performance and committed to success • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with proven team management capabilities • High level of cultural awareness with the ability to engage and fit in a dynamic and multicultural team
