Junior Analyst at Ignition Capital LLC - a US-based venture capital firm conducting capital raises and providing help with strategy execution framework (remote). Ignition Capital LLC is an investment management firm based in New York. The firm helps new ventures in raising capital with a seven-step process including invest-ability assessment, team capability mapping, collateral creation, data room build, capital raise execution, project oversight, and board advisory. Your potential manager, Jacqueline Kapur, is the founding principal of Ignition Capital LLC and has proven success in formulating and executing strategies and budgets for both startups and established businesses. Jacqueline is a thoughtful and experienced leader in finance, business development, operation, marketing, and HR across industries including information technology, media, research, data, financial services, and consumer products. Her excellent communication and people skills with significant experience help to navigate C-level management through major strategic changes. Now, Jacqueline is looking for a Junior Analyst with a strong desire to learn and develop in finance and marketing. If you are someone with great analytical skills and ready to dive into the fast-paced environment of startups, apply now! What will you do: Develop and maintain financial models and PowerPoint presentations. Prepare and present financial and operational dashboards and metrics for Executive Management. Develop analysis and metrics to measure and monitor product development milestones. Conduct market research and analysis. Assess and quantify the competitive landscape including analysis of market size, share, and opportunity. Assist management with critical highlights to help drive understanding of the market impact on the business model. Provide exceptional finance and accounting business support. Assist construction loan process, ensuring invoicing and reporting in accordance with contract terms. Identify opportunities to drive efficiency in internal processes Requirements: Ongoing/complete Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Analytics, or Real Estate. Excellent English skills - you'll communicate with native English speakers, so we expect you to have a minimum of an Advanced level (and for sure we don't want to see or hear any mistakes). Analytical skills - you can analyze, structure, and work with financial data and complicated financial models, and come up with conclusions based on the information you analyze. You are expected to demonstrate financial statement awareness, such as working with Excel spreadsheets, finance data, software tools, and financial modeling. Ownership over the analysis and reporting within a defined scope. Proficient quantitative, financial, and data manipulation skills and exceptional attention to detail Adaptability & digital intelligence - you’ll need to quickly adapt to work with various digital tools and new information.
