Hi there! We are Semrush, a global IT company developing our own product – a platform for digital marketers. And this is our Product Designer (UI-Kit Team) role for those who create hypotheses and test them, are not afraid to experiment and learn new things and know how to turn a mix of animations, pictures, buttons, fonts and colors into a great interface. Tasks in the role Participating in the development of design language. Supporting existing components and initiating the development of new ones. Working on common guidelines and patterns. Creating high-quality visual solutions based on prototypes and the design language. Describing and communicating your solutions to the development team (mockups, assets, animations, etc.). Supporting the design at the layout stage and testing the final solution. Creating and not destroying anything :). Who we are looking for 3+ years of UI/UX experience. Knowledge of UI/UX and completed projects at least at the level of a middle specialist. English at intermediate level and above (we write our documentation in English). Excellent knowledge and understanding of Figma components (variants, etc.) or willingness to master it in a short time. Basic understanding of the web page layout. Good knowledge and understanding of HTML, CSS, React, and other technologies is a plus. Passion for coding and digging into it is a huge plus. Knowledge and understanding of Git is a plus. Working with code via GUI applications or a console. A bit about the team We design the system https://i.semrush.com/ and the component library for React, which is used by all teams in our company. Our product connects and unifies all Semrush interfaces, gives users a sense of uniformity and integrity, and gives developers a full-featured, intuitive component library. We’re also working on a web portal with API documentation for developers and a dashboard for gathering statistics on our components. Our plan is to take part in other ambitious Semrush projects, so we really need more hands for this. We do need a UX/UI designer who likes to solve complex tasks and is ready to make independent decisions.
