About Distillery Distillery is a high-growth technology services company specializing in end-to-end custom software development and IT staffing for startups, small and mid-size businesses, and enterprises. We help our clients to imagine, design, engineer and deliver business-defining software and digital experiences whether they’re looking for a fully managed team, scalable workforce, or individual engineers. About the Position Become a part of the friendly and skilled team of QA engineers! You will be able to solve challenging tasks, work with first-class developers, designers, and managers and take part in large-scale international projects. Responsibilities Develop automated test scripts for UI and API layers Maintain, review, propose and implement improvements to existing frameworks, tools and processes Integrate your scripts into CI/CD pipelines Create test documentation such as test plans, test cases, bug reports Collect test results, provide clear feedback on the current quality level Perform a code review of the scripts that have been written by other engineers Сommunicate effectively with other team members Requirements 3+ years of software test automation in commercial projects Production experience with Java Production experience with at least one of the following test frameworks: TestNG JUnit or similar SQL knowledge Understanding of REST principles Experience with UI testing frameworks Experience with API libraries such as RestAssured Experience with Git Experience with Jenkins or similar CI-CD tools Understanding of software testing principles and theory Conversational English skills including the ability to communicate and collaborate with a globally distributed Experience working in an Agile development process (Scrum/ Kanban/ Scrumban) Additional Requirements: Experience with Appium framework Experience with Spring Experience with containerization (e.g. Docker) Experience with SOAP testing Understanding queue (like Kafka) and asynchronous requests Experience with Shell Scripting Experience with any BDD frameworks such as Cucumber Why You’ll Like Working Here The ability to work on and partner with multi-national teams that are committed to our BEST core values: Best People, Best Expertise, Best Service, Best Teamwork.
