We are: ? Business Solution QA Team – Part of Viber’s Business offering (services/products) which through it Viber gets revenue, ? in simple words the products who bring $ to Viber. We’re responsible for making sure our services are perfect in all aspects such as usability, functionality, maintenance and performance. We do it by asking tough questions, keeping a cross-company perspective, and using state of the art testing methodologies, tools and user data analysis. This is your opportunity to join a professional team, as well as learn & share knowledge with Viber teams around the world. You are: A QA Engineer with at least 3 years experience in system and integration testing of mobile-based applications You have experience in composing complex software test plans, managing large/medium QA integration projects, executing manual tests & reporting/delivering problems Your strong technical skills make you a pro at identifying bugs and solving complex problems Your web-related knowledge (HTML, CSS, JS, Browser debugging) is good You know how to write basic SQL queries You’re motivated, self-taught and your written and spoken English is at a high level You’re an independent worker who can switch tasks regularly without losing focus, as well as being a team player who knows how to lead and engage others without explicit authority You also have excellent planning and execution skills. As a QA Engineer, you will: Think like a Viber user and do your best to make sure every possible scenario they could encounter is fully tested, both manually and automatically Plan and execute manual test cases for new features (progression & regression) Design and execute automatic tests Be integration-focused, keeping in touch with all of Viber’s features and how they may be affected by ongoing code changes Take an active part in influencing the design, UX & product requirements from a QA perspective Relay QA results & bugs to all stakeholders Keep close contact with Support to identify escape bugs and monitor product quality Join Viber’s QA guild, take part in cross-company activities and use the guild to grow your testing professionalism and skills. Bonus points: Experience in implementing, debugging and executing automated tests in Javascript or Java/Selenium Familiar with the Risk Based approach and FDD methodologies Experience using Web debugging proxy – Charles, Fiddler Experience working with Jira & Testrail Experience with ADB, Selenium, Jenkins Familiar with Braze, MixPanel, and monitoring & logging tools like Firebase Crashlytics, DataDog, Kibana.
