Roles: We are looking for an experienced and versatile Senior and Lead Java software engineers to be part of our technology department and contribute to the creation of the next generation of our bespoke software platform. The successful candidates will design, build, and ship software to production to solve challenging technical problems within a distributed environment to deliver efficient digital processes for a global 24x7 operation. 1)Senior Java Software Engineer Responsibilities: As part of a strategic consolidation initiative, you will actively design, build and ship existing and new backend core services for Financial Applications such as invoicing customer, providing real time balances, creating customer statements and payment collection; Solve technical challenging problems within a distributed environment; Ensure the software delivered has a high-quality standard; Actively participate in design and code reviews; Troubleshoot escalated issues along with the support team; Work closely with other engineers to ensure services are integrated and consumed properly; Champion efficiency, automation, and software development best practice in general; Proactively seek opportunities to adopt continuous improvement initiatives. 2) Lead Java Software Engineer Responsibilities: To be a lead by example; Oversee and coordinate team members, processes required to deliver; Work closely with business managers to identify the requirements for the data and provide the basis for a data lake and reports development strategy; Prioritize, decompose, and delegate tasks to the team; Monitor the performance of team members against strategic targets and provide mentoring or training, if necessary; Monitor progress to ensure that the team does not encounter obstacles; Keep the development team on track; Improve engineering quality and efficiency; Participate in the hiring processes. Technology stack: Java, Spring Boot, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Mongo/DynamoDB, GraphQL, Kafka etc. We offer: Fully remote work; Opportunity to work in an international team and use English at work; English courses after probation; In the future, relocation to Europe / America is possible.
