Osome is a Series-A backed international fintech startup making the lives of entrepreneurs easier. We use machine learning (AI) and complex algorithms to automate accounting, tax, company formation, and other tasks. We have recently raised a funding round and are experiencing tremendous growth in both clients and team members. We have over 250 staff from 15 countries and have offices in Singapore, London, Hong Kong, Moscow and Kuala Lumpur. We are looking for the brightest minds who love solving problems and achieving results. We are looking for a Senior Android developer to join our team. Responsibilities: Developing new user-facing features using Kotlin, Coroutines Building reusable components and mobile libraries for future use Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of mobile-capable devices and browsers Create test and ensure high test coverage Manage build and deploy pipelines for mobile projects automation Requirements: At least 3 years experience in Android software development Excellent knowledge of Kotlin and Java Experience with Android framework Experience with DI frameworks, such as Dagger, Koin, Toothpick, etc. Experience with Jetpack Compose is a plus. Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning Knowledge of low-level C-based libraries is preferred Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services. Understanding the principles of the operation of HTTP, WebSockets. Experience with lower level protocols (TCP, UDP) is a plus. Proficient understanding of Git, familiarity with continuous integration Understanding of Material design principles and interface guidelines Good knowledge of web technologies and UI/UX principles Ability to work independently, developing and making architectural decisions by yourself Ability to reliably assess the complexity of the work - you will participate in the planning and budgeting of projects Experience in developing engaging, high UX-quality and/or entertainment applications, preferably confirmed by references to the Apple Store (or at least screenshots and screencasts) Benefits: Flexibility.
