Portfolio Manager/Head of Research - Family Office We are looking for an experienced Portfolio Manager/Head of Research. In this position you will be responsible for the company’s portfolio management that consists of long and short positions of equity as well as to lead the team of Investment Analysts. AUM - $300 mln. We are a small team of professionals managing a multi-asset company located in Limassol, Cyprus. Our shareholders have been successful entrepreneurs for nearly thirty years. We respect them and honor the trust they have given us as the managers of their wealth. The key Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Portfolio Management: Lead strategy on different types of the company’s equity portfolios; Daily management of the company’s portfolios including monitoring, periodic rebalancing and coordinating with the trading and implementation team. Run portfolio construction analytics and ad hoc analytics to support portfolio decisions. Engage with various internal teams on a daily basis including trading and implementation, legal and compliance, etc., as needed to support portfolio management activity. Coordinate with internal teams to enhance reporting capabilities and operational process supporting the company’s business. Develop new analytical tools to support all aspects of portfolio management and reporting. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made. Research: Lead and conduct fundamental analysis of the allocated equities with the team of analytics and produce regular updates on the progress of the companies concerned. Lead and conduct research on equities, funds, bonds, special situation and themes and generate fundamental investment ideas. Participate in investment committees and be proactive promoting investment ideas under the given process of the team. Manage the team of 3 investment analysts. Develop financial models to forecast future financial performance and valuation analysis. Education/Qualifications University degree from a globally recognized institution and CFA qualification or equivalent in a relevant subject and/or relevant formal training. Experience: Extensive experience in equity investment across various sectors and/or regions specific. Experience in portfolio construction and portfolio management that delivers systematic but customized solutions. The ability to make decisions, lead and motivate team. Persistent intellectual curiosity and drive to excel at the highest level. Working in an international team experience. Knowledge and Skills: Excellent knowledge of world markets, economics and politics. Knowledge of equity fundamental analysis; Highly developed Excel, Bloomberg, Refinitiv, FactSet and other modelling skills. Strong analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong organization skills, attention to details and ability to manage multiple tasks in a timely and efficient manner. Well-developed presentation skills. Knowledge of derivatives strategies & implementation useful. We offer competitive salary plus a bonus scheme that participates in the returns we generate for our company. We are able to relocate the successful candidate to Cyprus.
