We are looking for Finance & Accounting Specialist - Uzbekistan Responsibilities: Following up of archiving process: Organizes the monthly and yearly preparation of finance files in line with company procedures. Preserves actual documents and supportive accounting documents in the best way. Following up of auditing process: Regularly participates in store cash counts. Participates in stock counts. Ensures the conformity of inventory lists and retail lists and checks them with trial balance. Ensures all documentation related to statutory records are kept properly. Checks bank charges & commissions. Observes additional operational expanses (stoppage etc.) that can have in financial / taxational results. Prepares the monthly tax report in line with the related procedure for HQ (To be checked by the Chief Accountant or Finance Manager). Analyzes the Stoppage / VAT effects of international license/service invoices with respect to Double Taxation Agreements Following up of registration and accruals process: Records fixed-asset purchases, sales and expenses. Activates the expenses related to fixed-assets (including store construction expenses). Registers and debits fixed-assets. Timely records tax information in a proper way. Records import and export invoices. Records product shipment invoices. Records expense corrections. Records the revaluation of returned products. Records the transfer orders for multi warehouse systems. Keeps records related to cash and cash point on a daily basis. All statements shall be recorded the following day. Keeps records related to bank on a daily basis. Records sales/returns and discounts daily. Makes the accrual of expenses and prepaid expenses and makes sure that all expenses are duly recorded in the relevant period. Records depreciation according to local legislation. Following up of payments and collections: Prepares and/or checks compliance with the Banking Service Agreement and the documents related to the Bank. Makes the payments or transmits the payment requests to the Head Office so that the relevant tax returns can be completed correctly and on time. Monitors that the rental payments are made on time and correctly after all necessary approvals are obtained. Follow up of declaration submission process : Ensures the accuracy of the relevant book records and prepares other tax returns duly and on time. Ensures that the relevant accounting is performed correctly and prepares periodic VAT and Sales Tax Declarations in a timely and duly manner. Following up of operational process: Investigates the Periodic Declaration of Employment compliance with the Employment Agency, ensuring that there is a personnel workbook for every employee. Monitors the Proxies in terms of Financial Processes, keeps them updated, and cancels the expired ones. Preparing of official and managerial reports: Global Logistics cost breakdown & analysis report. Financial statements and other reports. Supports budgeting and forecasting activities. Fills the consolidation package. etc Requirements: University degree in Economics, Accounting or Finance; Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior accountant /deputy chief accountant position or within an audit company; Very good Excel skills and solid understanding of accounting software principles(ERP); Planning, budgeting and cost control principles knowledge; Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication (both verbal and written); The ability to plan and prioritize workloads in order to meet deadlines is fundamental; Navision and retail IT systems experience is a plus; Financial Interpretation and Analysis will be an asset
