Our client, a leading E-Solutions provider in the development and production of inductive components and mechatronic assemblies, is expanding its business by opening a plant in Ukraine, and for this purpose is looking for a Managing Director/Plant Manager . The ideal candidate for the position is a pro-active person, able to organize business procedures for the whole Ukrainian entity, ready to deal with different tasks. Our offer: Management of a new production site Challenging and varied tasks with extensive creative freedom Possibility to accompany and shape the development of a strongly growing and internationally operating group of companies in a leading position Participation in strategy processes and the development of the Group Highly innovative products in the field of E-Solutions and E-Mobility Profile: University or technical college degree or equivalent training/qualification in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, production engineering or industrial engineering Several years of professional experience in a leading position with staff and budget responsibility Extensive knowledge of the manufacturing industry including experience in Lean Production Persuasiveness, perseverance and strong communication skills Experience in staff management as well as in the management of change processes Several years of experience in dealing with international customers Systematic, structured working style and strong decision-making skills Advanced German and/or English language proficiency required, both written and spoken Tasks: Main responsibility for the establishment of the Ukrainian foreign subsidiary as a production plant Management of the operative business and the workforce Establishment of a quality management according to ISO 9001 and/or TS16949 and ISO 14001 Establishment of a production and logistics system in line with capacity, quality and delivery date requirements Relocation of existing products to the new Ukrainian plant from other Group locations in line with deadlines and quality requirements, including customer acceptance and approval Product and process implementation (industrialization) of new customer projects Growth-related alignment of the company with customers and target markets Planning and implementation of production layouts and value streams according to lean principles Establishment of a key performance indicator (KPI) system for the local site Profit and turnover responsibility for the plant Preparation of and adherence to specified and managed cost budgets Continuous optimization of structures and processes with the aim of operational excellence Development and implementation of all relevant processes in the plant according to economic, humanitarian and corporate strategy aspects Implementation of human resources management, development and training Launch and execution of local development projects
