Summary: The Plant controller acts as the “financial eyes” in the plant for the local plant management team and the Finance BP. This is the right hand and business partner of the Plant Manager and the local management team. The Plant controller has to ensure accurate reporting and analyses of their respective factory results versus targets for operational (in) efficiencies, material usage variances, direct and indirect factory costs, warehouse costs etc. The Plant controller is responsible for monitoring/reporting the consolidated factory & warehouse costs to the Plant Manager and Finance BP. Further it is essential that this role liaises with the Global Finance team to ensure alignment of processes and ways of working. The Plant controller reports directly to Finance BP. Location: Kasimov. Accountabilities: Developing, analyzing, and presenting financial results to the Plant leadership team Monitoring and evaluating performance against budget or forecast, identifying risks and opportunities, and reviewing results with cost center budget holders in the site Creating investment proposals for the site and liasing with various stakeholders to ensure all relevant information and data are included before submitting it for approval Identifying or supporting cost savings initiatives or performance improvement initiatives Creating the annual budget and periodic forecasts for the respective site Supporting new or renewed contract negotiations (e.g. energy) Acting as the gate keeper of internal controls The Plant controller has a complete understanding of how the production process should be registered in SAP & address registration issues to production management in case procedures are not followed correctly Ensures together with supply chain management that the stock count is done frequently (by preference on a monthly basis) & that the stock corrections are registered in a correct way & completely explained matter. Qualifications: Master in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar 3 years’ experience in Finance (Controlling/Accounting) English business proficiency (written and spoken) Experience in a multinational company, preferably in B2B / food industries Knowledge of controlling and financial methodologies and reporting Analytical / flexible / strong drive to deliver / very solutions oriented MS Office (Excel, Power Point), ERP system (SAP, Business Objects)
