Responsibilities : Driving the patenting program in all CloudBlue R&D offices (Russia, Spain, Canada and US); Filing and prosecuting patent applications in the USPTO and PCT (e-commerce, cloud computing technologies); Discuss cutting-edge IT technologies with inventors from the R&D divisions of the company around the world; Help inventors to reveal inventions in their projects; Assist with writing invention descriptions in English; Assist the company’s US patent attorneys to transform invention disclosures into patent applications; Develop a patent culture in the company and improve overall procedure, consult R&D executives on patents, defend inventions before the internal Patent Committee General requirements for this position are: Relevant education. Strong computer or science background. Degree from the MIPT, MSU (math faculties), NSU, IFMO will be a plus. Relevant experience of working close with IT engineers as a patent engineer, helping them to file their patents on US market. Ability to learn and digest complex technical information quickly. Fluent written/spoken English. High level of proactivity and responsibility. Excellent communication skills, ability to listen, negotiate and convince people from different positions starting from developers ending to CEO.
