JOB DESCRIPTION The Aircraft Charter Associate will work directly under the CEO of one of the country's most respected (small-sized) private jet brokerage firms with the sales of charter flights as well as the procurement of sold trips.The candidate must be a highly detail oriented, results driven individual who is well read and has a love and/or knowledge of aviation and hospitality.The ideal candidate can correspond with individuals in a highly professional manner, as well as empathize with their needs.This position requires daily correspondence with prominent individuals and companies.The Aircraft Charter Associate will learn how to source aircraft for client trips and will be required to become an expert on private jet aircraft.After-hours work (done remotely) will be required.The Early Air Way holds itself to an extremely high standard.The workload can be hard but rewarding.A strong moral compass is also essential.Duties & Responsibilities: Assisting... charter team with flight logistics.Processing contracts.Managing flight logistics (catering, ground-transportation, special requests).Managing heavy communication with clients via e-mail, phone, and texts.Organizing client data.Assisting with aircraft scheduling and sourcing (training provided).Answering the phone, during business hours and after hours on occasion.Sending itineraries and managing trip details (catering, ground transportation, etc).Assisting with marketing strategies.Administrative assistance to the CEO.Payment and document processing.Contacting new client leads.Requirements.Must be highly computer literate.Must have extremely professional telephone and written etiquette.Must have an interest in aviation and/or be willing to learn about business jet travel.Must be willing to work nights and weekends.Time will be given off during the week when this is needed.Must be willing to sign a Non Disclosure Agreement to protect proprietary information.Strong moral compass is absolutely mandatory.For someone who is both a fast learner, who is truly detail oriented, and has great verbal and written communication. Building your list of potential clients by researching internal and external databases, websites and social media Pro-actively targeting your list through outbound sales calls, emails and visits (both face-to-face and virtual) and converting them from potential clients in to ASTBA clients Building relationships with Operators to ensure we are able to provide the most suitable aircraft choices for the clients’ requirements Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure repeat business Ensure you are consistently exceeding both your sales activity and financial targets Confirming company procedures are being followed in a methodical and chronological way to ensure protection of both ACS and the client Demonstrate an expert understanding of the aircraft and chartering process Managing charter bookings from inquiry to completion Flight watching/overseeing flight departures Building a wide and effective network of contacts inside and outside the organisation Make prompt, clear decisions which may involve tough choices or considered risks Qualifications WHAT DO LOOK FOR Previous experience as a charter broker is prefered Extensive aircraft knowledge Understands the aviation industry and the chartering market Has a proven track record of selling charters Identifying sales leads Outstanding written and verbal communication skills Enjoys working to goals and objectives in a competitive environment Ability to work independently, but enjoys working with people inside and outside of ASTBA Job Type: Full-timePay What about your past experience would make you a highlight applicant to work in the private jet charter field?
