Essential Dairy & Plant-based division (EDP) produces and markets fermented fresh dairy products. In Russia we have 16 modern plants to produce our key brands – Danone, Prostokvashino, Activia, Actimel, Danissimo. Finance department is in charge of budgeting process in Danone. This team works with large data volumes to find the best option for Danone to be efficient on the markets of Russia & CIS. That’s not easy but it’s never boring! As one of the team member of Operations finance controlling we are looking for Finance controller, who will be working in material cost controlling group supporting the Purchasing department (C&P – Cycle and Procurement). In this role you will: Be responsible for selected Milk category – budgeting and forecasting process, actual vs. forecast analysis, management reports, productivity projects’ review and validation, finance supporting the team and management of C&P, contracts approval Provide financial support to various deals in terms of modelling, monitoring and measuring KPIs of ongoing deals in dedicated materials’ category Purchase plan/purchase orders’ and price control for the material category, cost model calculation Manage the accuracy of the costs’ controlling, evaluation of actual and budgeted financial performance of Milk category and report on any deviations in regular forecasting process, analysis of material cost variances vs forecast (volumes, price, mix) Pre- and Post evaluate of Business Cases and Projects (including profitability and productivity/effectiveness analysis and calculation) Contracts, Purchase Orders and Price lists check, calculate and approve Prepare of reports, presentations and analytic materials for monthly presenting to the team/manager and Supported Function Head or on request Support the Business Function in budgeting process, receive, analyze and challenge the projections and assumptions for the forecasting period, consolidate the data on materials, products/cost center/plants basis Monitor all Risks and Opportunities vs last forecast; assess their probability, initiate gap closing exercise Prepare accruals in the area of responsibility in month closing process Feel free to apply if you have: Bachelor's / University degree in Finance, Business/Management or Economics 3+ years experience at the role of Plant Finance analyst or Finance controller (production company, FMCG is preferable) Good understanding of statutory accounting rules, IFRS and cost calculation principle, basic knowledge in taxation Attention to details and accuracy in numbers Ability to analyses large data massive Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Advanced Excel is a must) Strong leadership ability, conflict resolution / management, learning agility, dealing with ambiguity Ability to work in multitasking environment with tight deadlines Analytical and strategic thinking, highly efficient communication and presentation skills, process improvement/optimization mentality Real motivation to occupy a position within a very dynamic structured company, business-oriented, trustable and energetic personality Good command of English Experience with SAP FI/CO is a plus.
