IHS Markit is a global information company that provides expertise, data and solutions to 50,000+ customers helping them in making more informed decisions. Our research and development center in Minsk focuses on creation of three intellectual platforms of IHS Markit related to engineering and manufacturing domains. This includes scalable cognitive engines that help users – engineers, innovators and researchers – to discover and leverage knowledge locked in corporate repositories as well as in industry sources. The Minsk AI team is looking for new talents for the role of Senior D evOps Engineer to develop AWS cloud based IaC in accordance to the project requirements. Your Role You will be responsible for design and engineering aspects of innovative projects. Your role is needed to design, prepare and develop environment at the same time in AWS Cloud and in Bare Metal servers. About You You are a talented engineer who is addicted to complex and fuzzy challenges. Your required qualifications and experience include: Create and maintain frameworks, systems & procedures to understand, control, manipulate, and scale all aspects of all our production environment infrastructure. AWS, as we use EKS, EC2, VPC, S3, CF, Lambda, ELK, Cognito, Kafka Understanding of scripting languages, such as Bash, Python — the more the better Understanding Dockerfile and docker-compose files Experience maintaining Kubernetes cluster with helm, understanding operators Knowing your way around monitoring and willingness to monitor solutions you deploy or maintain. We use Grafana for production deployments Knowledge in Infrastructure as Code (IaC). We use Terraform Knowledge of maintaining and creating CI/CD pipelines, understanding the value it provides.
