Oxagile , a leading-edge full-cycle custom software development company, is looking for a proactive, experienced Senior QA Engineer. You will work at the challenging projects that utilize state-of-the-art technologies and deliver value to high-profile clients across Europe and the United States brands such as Disney, JumpTV, Discovery, Google, Vodafone, etc. Project: You are going to build an online analytics platform providing insights and data for world's largest brands and media platforms. The platform ingests billions of events \ tens of TBs per day and makes them available for consumption through an intuitive and highly performant UI. You will experiment with new and cutting-edge technologies designed for large scale, distributed systems, BigData and AdTech solutions. Responsibilities: - Conduct manual testing of data pipeline software. - Conduct data quality, correctness and completeness validation. - Conduct post deployment validation and production spot checks. - SQL, Python, Shell Scripting - Follow standards of CI/CD, quality, monitoring, security, modifiability, extensibility and maintainability of software. - Agile, Scrum, Pair programming, TDD, Extreme programming, KIS. Minimum Qualifications: - 4 year+ of experience in the functional testing of web or mobile applications; - Advanced practice and theoretical knowledge in testing methodology; - Excellent knowledge of SQL; - Experience with either MySQL, MSSQL, PostgreSQL or MongoDB - Knowledge in Agile\Scrum software development process; - Knowledge of bugs’ life cycle, good skills in JIRA and Confluence; - Understanding of client-server architecture principles of functioning; - Strong experience in designing test cases, checklists, bug reports and other testing documentation; - Good analytical, communication, problem-solving and team-working skills; - Trainability, motivation to get new knowledge, attending and assiduity; - Intermediate English level (written, reading, spoken). Nice to have: - Knowledge of Python, Shell Scripting; - Experience with Big Data projects; - Experience with Snowflake, Looker, Kafka; - Pair programming, TDD, Extreme programming, KIS; - Experience with automation, security, performance testing; - Experience of working on projects with complicated business logic; - Working experience in multiple projects at the same time; - Experience of direct communication with customers; - Experience of testing on mobile devices; - Basic knowledge and experience with either SoapUI, Postman or Swagger; - Experience with JIRA, Wiki; - ISTQB certificate; - Knowledge of test design techniques; - Basic knowledge of any programming language.
