Job Content Currently, we are looking for a Junior .NET Support Engineer for our office in Minsk. It’s an amazing opportunity to adopt a start-up mindset and to get experience in a Financial area as well as enhancing your English level by working with a globally well-known US customer. This is a great possibility to grow yourself into a highly skilled developer with expertise in Frontend, Backend, Database programming, QA, or DevOps. Teams of skilled developers and QAs are also involved in this process, so you will have a chance to learn from the best colleagues! Support is organized in a way of collaboration between Tier-2/Tier-3 support activities that allow contributors to resolve challenging cases with the development and maintenance of the code. We are following the Agile way of working with 2 weeks Sprints, weekly refinements, sprint reviews, and cadence of incremental delivery by multiple teams. We use professional tools for managing support activities and engineering backlog – ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, Confluence, PagerDuty, Slack. Way of working Support team consists of two sub-teams – in Minsk and in the United States Support team covers 24/5 in 3x shifts during business days and is responsible for handling Production issues and related communications Support team provides support on-demand during weekends Night shifts for Minsk are covered by colleagues in the United States Team develops and maintains a number of support tools for day-to-day work optimization and root causing of bugs and issues When it comes to development, the team follows Agile methodology with 2-week Sprints Technologies and Tools used on the project Hosting: Proprietary Data Centers, Azure Cloud Database: MS SQL, CosmosDB Back-end: C#/.NET technology stack, Microservices, Azure Services, Windows Services (background “workers”) Front-end: Angular 7+, micro-frontends Task Management and collaboration tools: ServiceNow, PagerDuty, Azure DevOps, Confluence Repository: Azure DevOps Git versioning control Build Server (CI/CD): Azure DevOps Requirements Upper-intermediate English Technical background Ability to work full-time (8 hours) Strong desire to grow professionally :) Nice to have Experience working as a software developer or QA Good communication skills (both written and verbal) We offer: Experience working with colleagues locally and abroad Opportunities for self-realization working on challenging projects using new technologies and tools Friendly team and enjoyable working environment Possibility for career development Medical & family care programs Internal English courses provided by Forte Teacher Comfortable and fully equipped workplace Join us and be a part of our team!
